Why EVERYONE is NOT your PROSPECT!
Aug 25, 2020The truth is, if you are still using lists of 100 and slimy cold messages things probably aren't working too well!
If you still have people telling you to contact everyone on your Facebook friends list...that is NOT a great strategy!
I feel like that's why our industry has a bad reputation.
Now, I'm very much an introvert, and I just choose not to reach out to cold people 🤣 but, do whatever it is that FEELS good to you!

Okay, so let get into why not everyone is your prospect..
Building relationships has been the KEY to my success in this business. I'm constantly asking people what they need and what value I can give them.
Your business should be built in your inbox and the relationships you have!
Just like baking a cake, there are specific ingredients you need. If you leave out relationship building, the business (or the cake!) doesn't turn out the way you want it to!
I want you to think back to the time you first started your business. Or when you first started using the product/service.
THIS is the easiest gateway for you to do attraction marketing! It's the best way to expand your business!
But, if you're trying to attract every single person, you're not going to attract anyone!!
You need to figure out WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO!
Then, you need to figure out their desires.
Here is an example of my specific ideal client:
It's a female. She's an emotional eater. She cannot keep her hand out of the pantry. She's constantly feeding her emotions with food.
I chose this because THIS USED TO BE ME! I know that problem, that pain, and that challenge SO well. I know her desires and what she wants.
My ideal clients WANTS a plan that's going to help her.
You also need to know what kind of language your ideal client uses. This makes creating content so much easier.
How do you find the language, you ask?
YOU'VE GOTTA ASK THEM!! Go back in your messages and see what sort of words they're using. Those types of words are going to work SO well when you're talking to your ideal client in your social media posts.
Then, give them your solution!
So, remember this. If you try to attract everyone, you'll attract no one!
You've got this!
