Attracting Customers With Social Media Posts!

Aug 20, 2020

The LAST thing anyone wants to do is send icky cold "salesy" messages on social media, right?!

There's no reason for you to do that! Or to be annoying your family or friends when growing your online business using social media!

Here are some basic tips to help you get started attracting customers with your social media posts:

1. You need to know WHO you're speaking to!

Who do you really, truthfully want to help?

Once you narrow this down, making content becomes a LOT easier!

2. Go back to when you first started doing what you're doing. Or when you started using a certain product/service/program you're selling

When you first started, what made you fall in love with them!? What problems did they solve for you?

That person you were back then, is the person you can most help now!!!

For me, I think about when I first started Beachbody. I was a real emotional eater, didn't love fitness, hated the thought of going to the gym, wants to exercise everyday but doesn't know how to.

3. Create Curiosity WITH INTENTION

Think about the end. What result do you want to happen from your social media post?

Make them feel a certain way.

Curiosity should be made in the first sentence of your post.

Think: what problems are you solving for someone?

Before you post something, have a plan! Check out my IG for examples :)

4. Watch your language

Your words matter. How is this person you want to work with thinking?

Are they feeling exhausted? frustrated? Dreading Monday because they have to go to work?

Speak to them in their own language. They're going to be more likely to read your stuff in the future!

5. You need a CTA (call to action/answer) on every post

You have to tell your readers what you want them to do!

For example: "If you want to learn more info about how you can end emotional eating like I have, drop a thumbs up below and I'll message you for more info"

The idea is to keep your audience engaged by increasing the Know, Like, and Trust factor!

6. Post for your people, not for you!

The more you give to your audience, the more you're going to get back. Give away lots of value!

You CAN DO THIS! I hope these tips were helpful. If you have any specific questions about attracting customers in your business, I'd love to help!
